Ellie is 11 months old!

11 months 1 11 months 4

Almost a year old already!  She's taken a few steps now so it looks like 'real' walking isn't far away.  She loves attention and can be quite a clown when she has it.  Lots of fun!

Fall

new29

It's suddenly Fall!  I love this season - cooler weather, beautiful colors, soup, hot chocolate, and slippers.  I'm still wishing for a few warmer days to do some things outside though.  It seems like this year the temperature dropped without any warning.

More Scrapbooking

sb 8 Months

Journaling: At eight months old you are 28 1/2" long and weigh 20 lbs 6 oz.  You now have four teeth and can pull yourself up to stand. You have started pulling yourself around on your stomach and can really move when you want to get to something!  You've had a rash on your cheeks and chin that doesn't want to clear up.  This month you went on your first camping trip - with the Yoders.  You didn't sleep well the first night - until we put you in our bed.  The next night went much better.

sb determination

Journaling:  I love these pictures because they show Ellie's determination.  Her face lights up when she sees something she wants.

sb bookworm

Journaling: I am amazed at how much Ellie loves books!  When I pick up a book to read to her she leans back in my lap - ready for a story.  Often when she's playing in the living room and I check on her, she's sitting beside the crate of books, happily playing with a stack of them.  As a bookworm myself, I'm happy to see that she's picking it up so young.  Some of her favorites are 'Goodnight Moon', 'Busy Bunnies', 'The Jolly Barnyard', and 'Sheep in a Jeep.'  Happy reading my little bookworm!
